The weather is summery and daylight has been saved. But what of the short, dark night? Where loneliness and the lack of dancing lurks, the Kings County Society for Fitness, Science & Musical Merriment is there, to shine a DJ light. As usual, we’ll be spinning our patented mix of Northern soul, post-punk, hip hop, weird disco, and ‘80s that doesn’t suck, scientifically calibrated to maximize your enjoyment, while minimizing any negative emotional baggage.
This time we'll be turning the tunes at a brand new location: Branded Saloon, at 603 Vanderbilt, in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. And for all of our sakes, we go on earlier this time, at 10 pm.
