Stuff I Like; Bike Experiment Year 2, Week 1

The nice people at Abe's Penny have asked me to contribute something to an upcoming issue of their magazine. I'm very excited about this. AP is a weekly magazine of postcards pairings of writers and photographers. For each pairing of writer and photographer, four postcards are made, featuring the photographer's photo on the front (or back, if that's the way you'd like to call it), and the writer's very short piece of fiction on the back. Abe's Penny was recently written up in BOMB by Paul Morris. They have forthcoming work by Sherman Alexie and have previously published such rad writers as Mike Sacks and Jason Crombie.

Speaking of Crombie, here is a slightly old, but still wonderfully cracked* interview with David Byrne while he rides his bike.

*This line, "slightly old, but still wonderfully cracked," was originally intended to describe the interview (it's from December 2007), but I now realize it could describe the subject of the interview as well.
Is it true Lou Reed advised you not to wear short sleeves on stage?

Yes.
