I don't know what happened here but every time I see it, I chuckle to myself and shake my head disapprovingly.
On a more somber note, a cat was hit the other day on this same road (almost directly underneath this spot), and now I see that every time I go to Bi-Lo too.

I heard that when there are shoes hung over a telephone wire like that, it means drugs are sold there.
So...you can buy drugs at Bi-Lo? Sweet! I can get crack AND a steak all in the same trip.
